A feature documentary about young Persian girls who leave Iran and go to Dubai, Istanbul and Los Angeles with the ambition of becoming a famous singer. They find themselves entrapped by fake music bands that abuse them and sell them as porn actresses or addict them to drugs in order to keep them dependent. Some of them commit suicide or struggle with depression. They can’t go back home because they had left their country illegally and also there is no possible “coming home� for those who have escaped from their rigid parents ….. This documentary follows their lives and documents their past, with the collaboration of two activist women who are trying to give them shelter, heal them and help them find a proper job.
